Download the installer

Sign in, then grab the latest EditBuddy installer from the downloads page. Free users get the same installer — no purchase needed to start.

  • Free: one Auto Edit on a 3-min clip, full Pro AI features, no card
  • Pro: unlimited videos & full toolkit
  • Quit Premiere Pro before running the installer

Open the panel in Premiere

Launch Adobe Premiere Pro. Open the EditBuddy panel via Window → Extensions → EditBuddy. Dock it like any other panel.

  • Premiere Pro 2022 or newer (Windows & macOS)
  • If the panel doesn't appear, restart Premiere
  • Still missing? Check Window → Extensions submenu

Activate the panel

In the panel, choose Free Plan or Activate License. Enter the email you signed up with plus your key from your dashboard.

  • Free key: 12 characters, on your dashboard
  • Pro key: emailed after purchase
  • Email must match your account exactly

Supported workflow

EditBuddy works inside Premiere Pro for Auto Edit, Captions, Retake cleanup, Podcast mode, B-Roll and Talking Head.

Activation notes

Lifetime licenses stay active unless revoked. Subscription licenses revalidate regularly and stop if canceled.

Email support@editbuddy.app with your purchase email, license key, OS, Premiere version and a screenshot.

Before you contact support

Make sure you're using the same email from checkout, the latest installer, and a supported Premiere Pro version. Most activation issues come from mismatched email/license pairs or expired subscriptions.
